The campaign for unpaid carers to self-register for the COVID-19 vaccines launched today, and this will run in press, digital and radio. There are an estimated 700,000 people in Scotland who care for a friend, family member or neighbor affected by a disability, physical or mental ill health, frailty or substance misuses. Many don’t see what they do as providing care, it’s just what they do. We are looking to help these carers self-identify and for those eligible to register for the vaccine.

Unpaid Carer Stakeholder Toolkit

The toolkit contains the following assets:

  • Static and animated social media visuals
  • Suggested social media posts
  • Digital campaign banners

We will keep you updated with further COVID-19 vaccine campaign assets as they are completed.

Annotated 1st and 2nd Dose Vaccine Invitation Letters

We have attached examples of the 1st and 2nd dose vaccine invitation letters, with key information highlighted. Please share this information with your contacts and audiences. We want to make sure as many people as possible have access to the COVID-19 vaccine information, and understand next steps when they receive their vaccine invitation.

This will also contain information on how to access your appointment online, if this needs to be rearranged. Alternatively, you can call the national Covid-19 helpline who can rearrange your appointment for you.

Information on how to access alternative formats and languages.

Any questions on any of the above, please don’t hesitate to let me know.

Many thanks,
Victoria
